Tecno unveils its impressive Camon 20 series, featuring the Camon 20, Camon 20 Pro, and Camon 20 Pro 5G. These smartphones showcase a unique design with a distinctive back camera island and boast a 120Hz 6.67-inch AMOLED display.
The Camon 20 Pro 5G stands out as one of the first devices to launch with MediaTek’s new 6nm Dimensity 8050 chipset, while the Camon 20 Pro sports a 6nm Helio G99 SoC, and the standard Camon 20 is equipped with a 12nm Helio G85. All three models offer 8GB RAM and 256GB storage capacity.
In terms of camera capabilities, the Camon 20 series features a 64MP main camera and a 2MP macro shooter on the rear. The Pro 5G variant includes OIS on its main lens and a 2MP depth sensor, while the other two models have QVGA modules.
For selfies, all three phones feature a 32MP front camera. The Camon 20 Pro and Pro 5G incorporate optical fingerprint scanners under the display, while the Camon 20 has a side-mounted scanner.
Running on Android 13 with Tecno’s HIOS 13 skin, the Camon 20 series offers an IP53 rating for limited water and dust resistance. These smartphones are powered by 5,000mAh batteries with 33W fast charging support.
The Tecno Camon 20 comes in Predawn Black, Serenity Blue, and Glacier Glow colors, while the Camon 20 Pro and 20 Pro 5G are available in Serenity Blue and Dark Welkin. The Camon 20 Pro 5G is priced at $300 and is now available in Nigeria.
The Camon 20 series will be launched in various regions, including Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Southern Asia, with detailed pricing and availability to be announced at a later date.
